Manou Gallo & Band
Manou's musical roots are from the Ivory Coast and has been making music since early childhood. As a little girl, she surprised everybody not only because of her voice but with her talent on percussion, instruments normally exclusively played by the men of the Djiboi people. After a successful career as the bass player with Zap Mama she started working on her solo career collaborating with known musicians from Africa and Europe.
In her music she mixes African melody with Latin and jazz.
