Maria Theodotou - Aggelos Avgousti

The young singers Maria Theodotou and Aggelos Avgousti will be at “Entehno” stage in Limassol, on Wednesday, April 18th to present a unique performance with upbeat as well as lyrical songs.

Maria Theodotou became known thought the TV talent show "Greek Idol 2", where she took 3rd place. She has appeared live many times in Cyprus and Greece alongside famous artists. Last autumn she appeared live at “Architektoniki” and “Stauros tou Notou” with the band “Satisfy” and Chryso Stamatopoulou. She later continued with “Onoma tou Rodou” with Giorgos Tentzerakis and Aggelos Avgousti. Recently she released her first song named “De symvivazomai” written by Giorgos Tentzerakis.

Aggelos Avgousti started his music career in Nicosia with the band “Faltsa Oneira”, participating in concerts alongside Christos Thivaios and Miltiadis Paschalides. He was also a member of the band “Triimitonio” releasing their own album “I zoe ta ‘xei m’ allon” and also the cd single “Markadoros”. He has performed along great artists such as Dimitris Mitropanos, Giannis Parios, Stamatis Gonidis, Pegki Zina and Giorgos Sampanis. When “Triimitonio” was dissolved, Aggelos got involved with folk music and then took “laouto” classes from Achilleas Persides and Giorgos Xilouris. In the meantime he continued his studies in music production and technology.
