“Marine Litter: an educational and creative workshop for children” in collaboration with AKTI Project and Research Centre
Children will participate in a beach cleanup where they will implement an internationally recognized protocol for the separation and recording of the collected marine litter. In this way, children will learn, through hands on experience, about the main sources of marine litter, its impact on the environment, people and the economy, but also about the possible solutions to the problem. Children will then be able to use this information and their personal experience as sources of inspiration for the creation of their own art pieces made out of marine litter.
