Marios Varellas - The Mythology of everyday life
After several years of absence from galleries Marios Varellas comes to Nicosia to exhibit a series of completely new works. The series consists of approximately 40 works in acrylic and other mixed materials and some drawings with pen.
Marios Varellas was born in 1970 in Larnaca. He studied in Moscow, at the Moscow State University of Industrial and Applied Art in graphic design. In 1996 he qualified as a Master of Art Criticism. Since 1996 he lives and creates in Limassol. He works many years as a portrait artist, he had three solo exhibitions and he took part in several group exhibitions.
