Mark Henning (Soma - UK)

After a hectic 2009, ending in a nomination for Best British Breakthrough DJ for the UK's DJ Mag, Mark started the year by charting in the Beatport overall top 10 with 'Breakfast Club' - a great indicator of the strength of 'The Right Time EP' on UK label Hypercolour, which brought Rick James vocals echoing through clubland for some months after its release. Strong performances at Rex (Paris), Vienna's Prater Unser Festival, Watergate and Lux (Lisbon), as well as a US tour have certainly been highlights for Mark this year.

Mark's productions and live performances have been making waves in the scene - anyone who's heard his music will know he doesn't abide by the book, pushing house and techno forward with an edge and originality that stands him apart from the crowd.

Upcoming highlights for the rest of 2010 include a debut appearance at Space, Ibiza on August 8th, a morning Live slot at the infamous BOOM Festival at Idanha-a-Nova Lake, Portugal on 24th August and a headline set at Swiss festival 'Chocolate' on August 29th. Further releases will be out on Watergate, Cityfox, Soma, Mean and Vitalik later this year.
