Mavrikios performs Plessas
A concert dedicated to the work of the great Greek composer
Following the success of the concert held recently in Athens, at the prestigious Parnassus Literary Society Concert Hall, and having received critical and popular acclaim, the composer Mimis Plessas and the musician/performer Mavrikios Mavrikiou will present a concert at the TRAKASOL Cultural Centre in Limassol on Wednesday 3rd December 2014, at 8.30 pm. Mimis Plessas will honour the concert with his presence and play the piano, while Mavrikios will conduct the "Orchestra of the Senses", an ensemble which he has recently formed, consisting of eight young and talented musicians from Greece and Cyprus.
Mavrikios, while fully and wholeheartingly respecting the work of the great composer, has selected some of the most well known and classic songs of the greek repertoire, and makes his own personal proposal with a fresh, modern and progressive orchestration, musical arrangement and performance.
