Mediterranean Food & Drinks and Hotel Equipment 2009

The Mediterranean Food & Drinks and Hotel Equipment Exhibition, the largest International Exhibition of its kind staged in Cyprus, is an annual event organized by Display Art Group of Companies in collaboration with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and under the auspices of the Cyprus Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.

Applauded as an enjoyable and most productive annual event, the Mediterranean Food & Drinks and Hotel Equipment Exhibition is a unique opportunity for all those in the sector of the food and drinks industry to meet, discuss, negotiate and conduct business. The forthcoming 5th Mediterranean Food & Drinks and Hotel Equipment Exhibition 2009 will provide the means for those in the industry to see the latest advances and developments. It will be an open showcase of the Cypriot passion for all things culinary, and will offer countless opportunities to anyone interested in investing or expanding in this industry sector.

Each year, more and more progressive manufactures and distributors of food products and drinks participate in the Mediterranean Food & Drinks and Hotel equipment Exhibition. One of the major achievements of the organizers has been the bringing together of local and overseas exhibitors for food, drinks, raw materials, catering, bakery and packing equipment, kitchenware, tableware, hygiene products and services in the LIVE and INTERACTIVE Mediterranean Food & Drinks Exhibition.

Cyprus, being at the crossroads of the three continents of Europe, Africa and Asia, is a hub for all the countries in the region. Display Art’s ambition is to attract exhibitors and visitors from all over the world, but especially from the neighboring Mediterranean and European countries.

Display Art is anticipating a further increase in the number of participants in the forthcoming exhibition, as well as intensive interest from professionals and other visitors. This expectation is formed from experience, particularly from the organization of year 2008 exhibition in which 120 exhibitors participated, 80 of whom came from abroad and more than 50 overseas buyers from the food and drinks industry visited the exhibition from countries like UAE, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Russia and Sweden, besides the 400 local professionals and interested entrepreneurs who also visited the exhibition.

The Mediterranean Food & Drinks and Hotel Equipment Exhibition has already become one of the major international exhibitions in the region with many overseas exhibitors already showing special interest in participating in the 5th session directly from their own countries.
