The Merry Wives of Windsor
Shakespeare at Curium brings to the stage ‘The Merry Wives of Windsor’ with the irrepressible and naughty knight Sir John Falstaff attempting to woo a couple of rich ‘Merry Wives’. This play is unlike the usual Shakespearean play because it is a hilarious comedy. It is a romp of sexual battles, peevish jealousies, young love and ‘sit-com’ farce. It is set in the 17th century with lavish costumes and a versatile set and promises to delight audiences young and old in the spectacular open-air setting.
Performances will be at 8pm on Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June 2015.
