Mike has achieved several awards and has exhibited his work in many ‘one-man’ and joint exhibitions in the UK and Cyprus. He has sold his work all over the world. Currently, he is working on a series of paintings which focus on the rural aspects of Cyprus.
His landscapes are inspired by places and emotions from around the island of Cyprus. He is fascinated with the inter-play between the light and colour found in the crystal clear skies of Cyprus. He organises his compositions with great care and is inspired by the people who occupy the space within the landscape. He paints the world he sees around him and endeavours to represent people and scenes with passion and sensitivity.
