Exhibition by Michalis Charalambous
Michalis Charalambous was born in 1987 in Nicosia, he is a graduate of the Fine Arts’ School of the Department of Visual and Applied Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessalonica . He lives and works in Cyprus and Greece.
A nodal role is played by the exploration of the inner world, the acquaintance of man with his passions and, by extension, the subjugation of the ego and the development of collective thinking.
The creation of a narcissistic “portrait” unfolds through the pieces he exhibits, which carry multiple versions of the ego. Through distortion, fragmentation and disintegration, he is led to a kind of catharsis and purification of the ego.
The exhibition opens on the 11th of October at 20:00 and will remain open until the 31st of the month.
