One Mime retelles - Guerrasim Dichliev
The Institut Français de Chypre presents Guerassim Dichkliev, an internationally recognised mime artist, who will perform a show on Friday 5 April 2013 at 8.30 PM at Skali (Aglantzia) .
The performance offers a dozen of scenes, some of them comic, others poetic, and the character is always challenged to fight obstacles. This is a performance within the mime tradition, which at the same time offers its own style. It is a constant joggle between tears and laughter…
About the artist:
Guérassim Dichliev, also known as Guero, acquired the art of mime at the International School of Mimodrame “Marcel Marceau” in Paris where he graduated in 1996. In 1997 he was invited by the internationally acclaimed mime artist Marcel Marceau to become his assistant professor. Since then, he has created, staged and interpreted numerous mime shows. In addition, he has worked in the field of cinema as a body language coach in order to help actors release their full potential.
