Monica Childs
In her second solo exhibition since moving to Cyprus she has continued to explore the landscape. Gardens, flowers and people feature in this collection with strong colours, light and shade a mixture of studio and outdoor paintings.
Monica continues to send work to Galleries in the UK., Whitby and the West Country where she enjoyed many successful exhibitions - her work being widely collected locally & abroad. While Monica lived in Hampshire she attended the Portsmouth Art College then the Winchester School of Art. A family move to Cornwall was the deciding factor for her with the wonderful light, coastline, villages & countryside giving endless inspiration.
