Mr. Episkopakis
A theatrical play about a love triangle with unanticipated developments. A blackmailer enters into the life of two lovers that have a secret relationship and changes their routine radically.The hero of the play is a man that left his university career in order to work in his wife jewel shop and he has felt in love with his dentist who is married too. A young emigrant from Bulgaria threaten that he will reveal that and from this point and after the three heroes of the play are walking on very dangerous ground.
The writer of the play, Andreas Mitsou adapted his best seller novel “Mr Episkopakis” for the stage. The protagonist stands at an almost empty scene and begins to tell his story to the audience. He is full of regrets and guilty about the facts that already took place.
Mr Episkopakis is a 50 years old man that lived his life with a conventional way. He is in panic because he always used to stand out of the facts, he was a looker on life, and he never really lived his life. When he met Andigoni, he found love, he felt all the passion but at the end he chose to return to his routine. But the punishment for this cravenness will be dreadful.
