Muammer Ketencoglu
Muammer Ketencoglu is the most important Turkish musician of today and shows the natural relationship and mutual influence of Greeks and Turks in rebetiko music bridging these sounds with those of Asia Minor and the Balkans. His Zeybek Ensemble, often appears in Greece as well as all over the world presenting traditional music and songs of the East, Kappadokia and rebetiko from Smyrna.
