Music in the City
Reaching out to the community at large for yet another time, the CySO under the baton of its new Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Jens Georg Bachmann – in his debut performance with the Orchestra – take us on a musical journey from Spain to a sunrise over the Sahara and from Hungary to Cyprus. But that’s not all. Joining them is the always-popular Cypriot baritone Kyros Patsalides who promises to raise everyone’s spirits with operatic favourites, but who’ll also be showing us his more tender side with a Greek «Hassapiko» and Greek-Cypriot songs, all within the scope of… “a warm Autumn night’s music”.
