Music by Russian Composers
Enjoy an afternoon of classical music with a selection of classical works by Russians composers including Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Liadov, Glier, Scriabin and Rachmaninov, on Sunday, January 22 at 5pm.
Musicians performing: Antonios Koutroupis (tenor), Andreas Constantinou (violin) and Natalia Lezedova (piano).

A few words about the musicians
ANTONIOS KOUTROUPIS (Tenor): Graduated from Saint Petersburg Conservatory with Master Degree in Opera. Antonios won the first price in the opera contest between Russian conservatories as the “Best singer”. He taught opera and Byzantine Music in the Academy of Arts and Sciences and he was elected to teach in 2012 in the famous festival “Academia Provaslavni Muziki”. He moved in Venice, where he worked for four years, focusing on the Italian repertoire and technique. Besides the concerts that gives in Cyprus, he has also performed in the European Parliament, Switzerland, Finland, Slovakia and Austria. He holds the Honorary Title of Official Protopsalt of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
ANDREAS CONSTANTINOU (violin): Andreas Constantinou was born in Limassol. He studied violin at the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow. He worked in Limassol for many years as a violin teacher. He is a founder member of the Cyprus State Orchestra. He was the lead violinist of the orchestra for 15 years. Now Andreas Constantinou is working as a vice manager in secondary schools in Limassol.
NATALIA LEZEDOVA (piano): Natalia is a graduate of the Musical Faculty of the State Pedagogical University of Russia, and she also has postgraduate studies in "Musical Art" (2012). She has an advanced training course from the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory (2013). She is a Laureate of five international competitions, among them: two first praises as a performer-soloist (Saint-Petersburg and Moscow 2012), winner of the Grand-Prix musical festival-competition “Severnaya Venetsia” (2012), Laureate of the first prise as a concertmaster (Musical Competition Performing Arts Saint-Petersburg 2013).
