Natural and Cultural Heritage of Cyprus
Exhibition presenting the natural and cultural heritage of Cyprus. This is the first exhibition of its kind organised in Cyprus, and aims to present the biodiversity of the island through the passage of time as depicted by thousands of exhibits such as insects, sea shells, sweet water shells, crabs, sea fossils, sea urchins etc.
The exhibition also presents traditional crafts of Cyprus through the exhibition of traditional work tools from professions that are no longer practiced in Cyprus, such as shoe repairman, lumberjack, chandler, potter, quilt-maker etc.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Ervironment Demetris Eliades on Friday 4 March, at 19:30.
