Nature's Footprint Environment Screenings

In celebration of World Environment Day the Vineyard Film Festival, in collaboration with the Young Ecologists, will be screening three short films on ecology:

1. Silent Heat (USA 2min) directed by Larry Rosen

2. The Line (Cyprus 7min) directed by Juta Papapetrou

3. Volcanoes of the Deep Sea (Canada 43min) produced by James Cameron, directed by Stephen Low.

There will also be short talks of no more than 5 minutes by Ms. Papapetrou, Mr. Theopemptou - Commissioner for the Environment, Mr. Perdikes - Member of House of Representatives for the Cyprus Green Party and Mr. Georgiou President of the Nicosia Municipality Environment Committee.

The audience will have time at the end to ask any questions they may have regarding our environment and what we can do to protect it before enjoying a reception with organic food and drink. Simultaneous translation Greek to English will be available for the talks, films are in English with no subtitles.
