"never there ever here" invites people into the mind set that drawings and illustrations are not just for comics and animations, books or magazines, but an art form in its own right. As the artist says, framing and exhibiting my work is a way of perhaps giving the art form more credibility and a better understanding of what illustration is and what it can be.”

Melanie Spathia holds a BA in Visual Communications and Illustration from Middlesex University. While in the UK, Melanie participated in group exhibitions and worked as a character designer for a freelance graphic novel author. In Cyprus she has worked for a wide variety of clients in advertising, design and publishing, creating illustrations and political comics. She is one of the dots at three dots arts lab in Larnaca.
