Nordost
Versus Theater celebrates its 10th anniversary with the play "Nordost" directed by Marinos Anogyriatis.
The work of Torsten Buchsteiner takes place in Moscow on 23rd October 2002, during the musical “Nordost” at the Doubrovka Theater, when Chechen separatists kept 850 people as hostages for three days.
Each of the two sides of the Russo-Chechen conflict, gives a different name to this event. And in a way, they are both right.
