Nude the Tree
Nude the Tree is a research by Petros Konnaris, about the naked body; how a body can be naked, nude or undressed and what it means to be naked even if you are covered with cloths. Part of the research is an adaptation of the practices of the gymnosophists, a group of monks in India that believed in nudity, meditation and asceticism/exercise as well as engage stillness for long amount of time in various poses.
The same night, Aliki Evgeniou, Stella Eftychiou, Vicky Kalla and Eva Kalomoiri will share their own work of the residency, “Corps 4nonymous”.
After the presentations there will be an open discussion based on both groups’ work and pieces.
