On Photographic Process and Everyday Practice
Boyana Loizou is returning to Fotodos, giving a talk about her own work with photography.
We will look at different bodies of her photographic work, connect and reflect on some theoretical paradigms, and encourage lively debate around it.
About Photographer:
Boyana was born in Slovenia. She studied photography at FAMU (Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague), and gained MFA in Documentary Photography from the University of Wales. She worked and lived in Prague, Berlin, Cardiff and is currently settled in Nicosia.
Her photographic work has been published and exhibited internationally. Her husband moved to the Netherlands and they are lovingly separated. As the mum of an energetic girlie, you will see her running around the playgrounds, walking her dog, testing new vegan recipes, practicing or teaching yoga and meditating with her tai chi family.
