The play, inspired from the novel by Yiannis Makridakis, tells the true story of George Petika, who for two decades led a lawless life after committing a crime of passion. As the narrative unfolds, the story of Chios comes to life from the end of the 19th century up to the Asia Minor Catastrophe.
