Open-ending movies
We have selected Roman Polanski’s The Tenant (1976) and Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining (1980) for our open-ended movies night.
The ending of these two movies leaves the viewers with a lot of mind-bending questions so we should all join together and try to find an answer to these questions, debate on which theory is the most probable and find the hidden messages in these movies.
7:30pm: Screening of Τhe Τenant.
9:36pm: Movie ends we ask the questions and discuss the movie.
10:10pm: Screening of The Shining.
12:36pm: Movie ends we ask the questions and discuss the movie.
01:10pm: End of the event.
Entrance fee: 3 euro - with a drink
The event is organized by Charly Chahwan, who is passionate about cinema. She hopes to become a movie director in the future and this is why she is currently studying Digital Communications at the University of Nicosia.
