Sometimes the new year can feel like a 15-pound rat with the heart of Milo Yiannopoulos and the bright orange hair and short, stubby fingers of Donald Trump.
Especially when our fortune cookies tell us it’s the Year of the Rat (please fact check).
But still we persist in being beautiful in the face of the rat.
Open Mic Night 23 is dedicated to beautiful new beginnings.
Stories, songs, poems, spoken word and 5-minute trailers for the new lives awaiting us on the other side of December, performed live, as always, at Prozak Kafeneio, our haven from all things ratty.
