Opera of Love
Opera of Love brought to you by the Rotary Club of Nicosia.
The Opera will be held under the auspices of the Mayor of Nicosia, Constantinos Yiorkadjis, and will feature the art direction and performance of the famous Cypriot opera soprano Katerina Mina who will be making a special guest appearance from her base in London. Several other famous and upcoming stars from Cyprus will also be performing well known hits from the opera to ensure that the night will be highly enjoyable and memorable for everyone.
All receipts and contributions generated from the event will be donated to the charity Angaliazo and the Association for the Welfare of Persons with Mental Handicap. Angaliazo is a charity organisation supported by the Nicosia Municipality which “adopts” families in need by taking full care of their everyday food needs, whilst the Association for the Welfare of Persons with Mental Handicap runs 2 day centres in Nicosia providing care and support to adults and children with severe physical and mental handicap.
