Opera Mater
The “Opera Mater” performance will take place at Limassol Marina’s ΤΡΑΚΑΣΟΛ Cultural Centre from the 1st to 3rd of April 2017. A theatrical adaptation of the music by Giambattista Pergolesi from the “Stabat Mater” project will be directed by Paolo Baiocco.
The project deals with a mother’s pain, living in the shadow of war in an unfair world. References to the Cypriot and Syrian war stories will be accompanied by music, opera and dance, all touching on various aspects of Western civilization. The show will introduce the theme of conflict to people around the world, just one week before the Easter period.
