She draws inspiration from nature. “I wish to express birth and evolution, man and his nature, his internal and external environments”. Her work often depicts tree barks, the depths of the sea and at other times human bodies and faces. Morphing natural and human forms together is evidently what her art is all about. She has had two one man shows and has participated in many group exhibitions in Malta, Cyprus, Greece and Sicily. She is a member of the Pancyprian Association of Ceramists and the Larnaca ARTIO Cultural Group.

During her period at the academy she had the chance to study under well-known artists such as Giovanni Mundula and Salvatore Stella. At the same time she studied and experimented with photography and engraving. Some of her paintings are in public and private collections in Cyprus, Greece and other countries. Her work has been exhibited in Cyprus, Italy and Greece. “I was inspired by realism thus I began my artistic journey by drawing mainly realistic human figures. In my effort to depict my emotions through the figures in my paintings, I adopted in my style elements from modern realism to highlight the power of light and shadow. I strive to portray the psycho synthesis of human beings and simultaneously with my soul searching I create figures that can deeply touch the observer and stimulate his feelings and emotions. By searching the truth you can enjoy the journey”. She is a member of the Larnaca ARTIO Cultural Group.
