Order and Disorder
A performance about the chaotic relationship between the sexes by actress Mara Constantinou and performing artist Mathieu Devavry as part of the Nicosia Pop Up Festival 2015.
Man –Woman. Woman –Man. The battle of the sexes. Love that turns into hate, hate that turns into love. Order becomes disorder and disorder, order.
Love-Lust. Absence- Presence. The contrast that exists within us. If night does not fall you can’t expect the day and if black does not become white, and white does not become black then everything is dull. The enemy? Our ego, and our ego has no place in love because it brings chaos.
