The other man

The ARTos Foundation in collaboration with the French Institute of Cyprus are organizing the video performance entitled “The other man” within the framework of the 3rd X-Dream Festival. The video performance will take place on Wednesday, 7 December 2011 at 20:30 at the ARTos Foundation.

The other man
The other man is an audiovisual performance that tells the story of a man bringing another sense of humanity. This man finds within himself a child looking at life in a different way, speaking with animals, traveling in dreams, using telepathic communications... Step by step, the public is invited to follow him in his own way of living and maybe to adopt his ways...

Using various media an international artist team will transform the space of the ARTos Foundation into a world of illusion.

A performance by Calvacreation

Transfiguring reality to create a fictional world, a mental space. Calvacreation questions the place of man in this imaginary world. Calvacreation is a mobile and independent platform of experimentation, reflection and creation. Sabrina Montiel-Soto and Fabrice Croizé create together "immersive" installations and audiovisual performances across disciplines such as film, photography, drama, technology and sculpture.
