Oursoula Stavrou - Illusions
The Pantheon Gallery invites you to the opening of the solo painting exhibition by artist Oursoula Stavrou entitled "Illusions" on Wednesday 23rd of March 2011, 8:00pm.
Oursoula Stavrou is an artist whose thematic material is drawn from the deterioration that comes along with time in objects such as darkened surfaces.
Through her own eyes she spurts out curious figures that in reality do not exist. A hallucination, an imaginary world that is given birth on canvas with her excelled technique, earthy colours and a game of various writings; a new picture reaches the eyes of the spectator.
Restless, experimental and without letting in to a hastened fast and immature solution she marries elements constructivism and Expressionism including, dynamically, her own, personal element.
