Do Not Panic (Pas de panique)
The Embassy of Switzerland would like to announce the screening of the tragicomedy film Pas de panique at this year’s Francophonie film festival. Snacks & Drinks will be offered after the screening of the film at 21.30h
It’s time for Ludovic Chambercy, who has everything going for him, to succeed his father Jacques at the head of the family business, the department store, Chambercy Galleries. But faced with his new duties, Ludovic begins to sweat, has panic attacks and even dizzy spells and just wants to shy away from his father’s expectations. After various check-ups, he is eventually, much to his dismay, diagnosed with hypegiaphobia, the extreme fear of responsibility. Without saying a word to his father or fiancée, he reluctantly begins group behaviour therapy; however his innocent lies spark off an incredible series of tragicomic events. He strikes up a friendship with the other members of his group therapy: Léon who cannot stand untidiness, Clémence who cannot bear to be alone for a minute and Margaux who cannot be touched or touch anyone. If Ludovic is to find a cure at the end of the road, there will also be a few surprises in store for him along the way.
A charming and light hearted tragicomedy set in Geneva.
