Penelope Constantinou "On my Soul's walls..."
Well known Cypriot Artist Penelope Constantinou is presenting her 2Oth Exhibition with the title “On my soul’s walls…” at Gloria Gallery on the 2nd of May at 7:30pm. The Opening of the exhibition will be done by Mr. Michalakis Zambelas, ex-mayor of Nicosia. The exhibition will end on the 16th of May.
This is what Penelope says about her Exhibition:
“In the Artwork of this Exhibition I have put out every important thing I have within me. I have opened my soul, where freedom of thought is boundless, like you open the huge windows of an enormous room and I made the sun come in and I illuminated all the walls on which you will find, painted with color, brushes and truth, my view of Man, Life, the planet, Cyprus, our survival and our future. So with lots of love I present to you my new Art series with the title: “On my soul’s walls…”
Penelope was born in Cyprus in 1960. At the age of 12, as the miracle-child she surprised her Art teacher Lefteris Economou with her talent in portraiting and drawing. She studied in the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence. She has done many solo and group exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad. Her Art can be found internationally in private and state collections. Her Art is also in the hands of Celebrities like, the family of Martin Louther King, the Greek musician Yanni, the French musician Jean Michel Jarre and more.
