Per-sonat: Mer Amere
A rare concert dedicated to melodies with works of Codex Cyprus, which brings out the melody and the similarities between their religious as well as their secular part. The Per-Sonat concert highlights Medieval and Renaissance music and is entitled Mer Amère (bitter sea). The term Codex Cyprus describes a collection of secular and religious musical works, by the hand of an anonymous 15th century author, which were dedicated either to the Virgin, protector of travellers, or to the anticipation and longing for love.
Participating artists: Sabine Lutzenberger (soprano), Tobie Miller (medieval recorders, soprano), Baptiste Romain (fiddle, bagpipe) Liz Rumsey (fiddle).
