Piano Concert for four hands
A piano concert for four hands with Clio Papadia and Stefanie Sotiriou who will lead us to a musical journey with selected repertoire for piano duets.
The journey starts in Austria, with the bright colours of Mozart’s Piano Sonata for 4 hands in D major. Schubert welcomes us with his romantic Phantasie in F minor and Saint-Saëns, changes our musical background dramatically, with his deathly dance “Dance Macabre” (arrangement for piano 4 hands). We then move to France, with the eccentric and energetic "La Belle Excentrique" of Satie. And finally, we arrive in Argentina with one of Piazzola’s most known compositions, “Adios Nonino”, a work written as a requiem after his father’s death.
The concerts are supported by the Socrates Savvides – Kawai Pianos Company and the Diapason Music Lab.
Entrance: 10 euros (students: 5 euros)
