Piano Recital with Drosostalida Moraiti
Young pianist and musicologist Drosostalida Moraiti who has on her record several piano recitals and chamber music concerts in the Czech Republic, Greece and the United Kingdom, as well as a major research study on the recently discovered Piano Preludes by Alfred
Schnittke, is coming for the first time at the Axiothea Mansion to take us on a journey across music periods, which begins with the German Baroque of 1720, passes through russian romanticism of 1916, carries on to russian Avant-garde with its twelve-tone compositions, and ends with contemporary classical music.
