In the programme of the recital, Schumann’s Scenes of Childhood and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition are provided a link by Childhood Whims, a work with Mediterranean flavour by Cypriot pianist and composer Nicolas Economou, which was inspired by Schumann’s work but also by Russian composers.
