The Festival of the Romanian Blouse
The Romanian Society in Cyprus, in celebration of its 20th anniversary cordially invites you to “The Festival of the Romanian Blouse” to be held at Casteliotissa Hall, Nicosia on Monday, the 8th June 2015, at 7.30 p.m. Entrance is Free.
The event is held under the aegis of the Romanian Embassy in Cyprus.
The Festival includes:
• an exhibition of traditional costumes and Romanian embroidered blouses
• a joint painting exhibition by the children of the Romanian School in Nicosia, and the children of the Art Gymnasium No. 2, from Bucharest, Romania
• songs performed by the Children’s Choir of the Romanian School in Nicosia
• a tasting session of Romanian traditional sweets: cozonac, poale-n brâu… and more!
