Roots Tribe Beach Party
Sirius Productions Cy, for the first time in Cyprus rounds out the richest international and local reggae/dub lineup on the beach, sure to move the hearts and feet of any reggae music fan.
On the night of 17th July 2010, Governor's beach becomes an immense source of energy, creativity and positive vibes as top notch reggae producer Slimmah Sound & reggae artist Jah Melodie will take over the stage, promising to travel us in a rootical one drop one, bass, melodies and thoughtful chants.
Slimmah Sound, has an intensive career the last several years producing reggae and dub music in his own right under the «Roots Tribe" label as part of his own personal achievements as well as several other reggae chart-toppers releases with the famous King Shiloh Majestic Music and Imperial Sound Music, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Jah Melodie, whose heartfelt voice is as mystical as ever, delivers spiritual and conscious lyrics over various tough riddims produced by Slimmah Sound. He is a driving force in reggae music and remains a constant favorite and one of the most recognizable vocalists in Amsterdam the Netherlands.

We definitely encourage early attendance as we are lucky to have some great local groups opening the event. The well established Roots Crew Sound System will spread the early vibes with their unique reggae/dub selections, while the new dynamite reggae band High Station Sound will set up the fire for this exceptional experience.
Getting there:
At Governor’s beach area follow the land road after the Sofroniou Beach restaurant. It’s a quiet beach away from the hassle and is large enough that you can usually find a quiet spot if you prefer.
