Bio:
After a short stay in Paris, at dawn of the new millennium, having been deeply intrigued by the cosmopolitan culture of that city, Rossella decided to take with her the deceiving sound of LA MUSIQUE DU MONDE into the roman clubs. She plays as dj resident at most celebrated French clubs ( Le Bain , La Maison, Ketumbar) developing her own music concept in which ethno sounds are supported by rhythms taken from Hip-hop, dub, bossanova and drum'n'bass. Her taste for contamination doesn't stop at the point Very keen of odd sounds and influenced by the first realises appeared on Poker Flat label, Rossella began her personal musical research towards minimal electronic sounds, trying to bring in house and techno rhythms and remaining very sensitive and careful towards sophisticated musical experiments and atmospheres. During her dj sets you can live all that!!!!. Her own peculiar way to play and to catch the crowd has reached a so highly advanced level that currently she is one of the most deep-seated dj at the nights events of the famous Goa club in Rome (After Tea and Wonder Woman ) as well at many others ( Robotique at Alibi; Liquid) Hereafter she is the author of "Pure "night at Fake club, where you can hear playing and performing Italian djs like Dozzy, Dj Red, Lory D and Claudio Fabranesi, each one suggesting a personal electronic discourse but everyone is linked by the common thread that is the minimal techno. Currently Rossela is one of the most essential dj for the night events in Rome: (Microhouse-Brancaleone; L-Ektrica-Akab; Expander-Ex Magazzini;Playgound -Fake; Ultrabeat- Beatpark).At the same time she is a very appreciated artist at several Italian clubs such as Velvet (Naples), Globulo ( Bs), Atlantis (Lecce), I Gufi (LT), Makkeroni (LT), Rising South (Naples), Myllenia (FR). In 2006 she is part of Elettronica Romana, a label exclusively distributed by Kompakt and on which she has signed up, together with Modern Heads, the seventh production: ER.007.
