Sea, have mercy - Kyriakos Gouventas & Ex Adiairetou
Whenever the eyes roam above the sea, whenever you feel the salty air on your lips and hear the sounds of a nearby harbour, an imaginary journey begins…
One such journey will come to live in the concert of virtuoso violinist Kyriakos Gouventas from Thessaloniki and the Cypriot music formation “Ex Adiairetou” who will present urban songs of love, longing, exile and parting from Smyrna, Asia Minor, the White Sea, Crete and Cyprus.
The starting point of this musical journey are the maritime experiences of the artists, their desire to travel through and explore the diverse musical identities of the Eastern Mediterranean.
