The Second Sex - A Photography Exhibition
'The Second Sex' is a photography exhibition focused on the experiences of women in Cypriot society. It will take place at ARTos Foundation, on December 18-23, 2015.
The exhibition presents women in their full potential while simultaneously exposing the dire patriarchal pressures which they are subjected to by Cypriot society. Featured works capture and explore a broad range of themes, including womanhood, empowerment, emancipation, success, sexuality, angst, objectification, crime, violence and suffering.
The photographs will be available for purchase at the exhibition.
