A Seed for Change
Seed Savers of Cyprus, proudly invite you to the screening of the Greek documentary “Α Seed for Change”. The movie is about the director’s, Alexandros Iconomides’ personal experience through Greece’s financial crisis and his effort for survival.
It all began 7 years ago in the midst of global recession, when Alexandros lost his job – putting him through a strenuous quest for survival. Instead of giving up he parted for a journey of alternative way of living. His research led him to heirloom seeds, natural-organic farming and natural life, and the conclusion that only through growing our own food we will be able to break the viscous cycle of fear.
This movie was entirely self-funded and it took Alexandros seven whole years to complete it, having to do everything himself, from writing, producing, directing and filming, to editing. Being able to complete it though, consists another yet proof that beautiful things can come to life through a crisis.
