Servant of two Masters
A comedy in the style of comedia de l'arte, 'Servant of two Masters', by Carlo Goldoni, is a text which remains timeless and with its critical disposition ridicules the ethos of an era characterised by conservatism and hypocrisy.
At the same time, it reveals problems like unemployment and survival of the middle class, an element in the play not so distant from the reality of our times. A play with a concrete theatrical structure, with amazing, funny and amusing situations, what Goldoni reveals is the eternal passion of humans to meet love and success, irrespectively of their social status.
