Shakespeare at Kourion
Each June the ancient amphitheater of Kourion is transformed into a stage for performances of the Shakespearean plays. The open-air Kourion Theater occupies a dramatic cliff top location and creates a perfect environment for staging the works of the famous English poet and playwright.
This year’s play is "Much Ado About Nothing" a comedy first published in 1600, and one of Shakespeare's most enduring and exhilarating plays on stage.
