Socially Engaged: Design Conference 2014
This first SED conference sets out to explore the relationship between the field of socially engaged design and the development of the urban environment in Cyprus.
A range of international creative practitioners and thinkers will come together to share their knowledge, theories and ideas, establishing a dialogue between the different communities involved in and affected by changes in the urban fabric in Cyprus.
During the morning sessions, academics and practitioners will share with the audience what socially engaged design means to them and how it is being used in their own discipline. In the afternoon sessions participants will have the opportunity to attend workshops and round-table discussions (further information on the themes and questions that will be explored will be published here in the next few days).
The talks, Q & A sessions, workshops and round-table discussions will be conducted in English.
