Solar Car Challenge 2016
The Cyprus Institute in cooperation with the Municipality of Nicosia is organising once again the innovative Solar Car Challenge in the centre of the capital. The race will take place Sunday, June 26, 2016, aiming to promote and raise the interest of the public, particularly of young people for the use of alternative energy resources.
The Solar Car Challenge that has become an annual event, and is organised for the seventh consecutive year, is open to all who wish to participate and experience the ultimate challenge of an exciting race using the sun as the only fuel.
