Sonic Arts 5.0 Cyprus
The Pantheon Cultural Association celebrates the launching of the album ‘Sonic Arts 5.0 Cyprus’ featuring compositions by Cypriot sonic artists.
The album explores the Cyprus Sonic Arts scene, which despite its very short life, has evolved and spread in a very rapid tempo, reaching a significant level of maturity and character. The very promising future uncovered in the Cyprus Sonic Arts scene, needs to be further promoted inasmuch as it constitutes a solid contemporary musical and/or artistic form qualified to reflect today’s Cyprus society and reality in a very effective fashion. And this is exactly the aim of the ‘Sonic Arts Cyprus’ project, established by the Pantheon Cultural Association.
Curated by composer and sound artist Antonis Antoniou, the event will include live performances given by the artists, sound installations, video art projections and more. The cd will be given at door for free.
