Stamatis Spanoudakis in Concert
The 1st Nicosia International Festival, premiers at the renovated Municipal Theatre with Stamatis Spanoudakis’ composition «Pame gia alles Polities». The highly acclaimed composer has recently presented this work in Athens with great success. The performance combines brass-wind instruments, traditional instruments, a string orchestra, classical piano, a rock band and a choir singing, creating thus dynamic and beautiful images. The audience will be taken on a journey from East to West, with “stops” at Smirni, Byzantium and modern Greece. The Festival's impressive program includes international and Cypriot productions with theatre, music and dance. It will last until the end of autumn.
