The star of the Giant
Puppetry is the revival of fairytales with the use of dolls that can travel you around the magical world of the doll. Come to Technopolis 20 in Pafos, on Saturday, October 24 at 4pm and travel with the team “Doll - stories” in Astrochora (The land of stars) and meet the benevolent giant Asilampa Ntelasy, as part of the celebrations of the one-year operation of Technopolis 20.
A presentation of the children’s book of Marivita Grammatikakis "The star of the Giant" and music by Xanthoulis Nikos.
Is it possible the benevolent giant Asilampas Ntelasy to be able to catch the stars that are falling and to place them back to the sky? Does he really believe that if the stars fall they would break? And what about the wishes of the people? Would they be lost? This is what happened though in Astrochora, a quiet town on the edge of the world that became restless because dreams and hopes were lost. Can the song of a little girl solve the misunderstanding of the residents of Astrochora with the giant?
A story about diversity and isolation, the prejudice and rejection, the loneliness and fear, the dreams and hope. A story full of power and images that awaken emotions.
A workshop of doll creation will follow.
